You already use Xero for all your bookkeeping needs, but Xero cannot combine a selection of ingredients into finished goods. A-Trace provides these missing links and includes traceability along the way.

task_alt  A-Trace fits straight in by bridging the manufacturing gap.

All food preparation combines and transforms raw ingredients into finished Products. Intermediate stages such as mixtures or prepared ingredients cannot easily be represented on Xero. A-Trace uses the Xero API to keep track of manufacuring whilst by storing additional data for every step from purchasing ingredients to fulfilling orders.

Each manufacturing step is identified with its own label containing a Countermark open_in_new. The unique labels help your team to carry out their job and help us to keep track of your data.

The labels cover the following key manufacturing stages:

  • GRN (Goods Received Note) - keeping purchase delivery documentation
  • Stores Items - identify every ingredient to be used
  • Processes - keep track of what is used in each mixture
  • Products - the goods you create linked to what is used inside
  • Cases - collections of Products in normal saleable quantities
  • Fulfilments - lists of Cases & Products ordered by customers

A-Trace makes availability and traceability reports easy to generate. Accurate data without spreadsheets, scribble pads or notebooks.

Forward and backward traceability reports are created in seconds helping compliance and enabling precise recalls if necessary.

Stock availability reports show unopened and part used ingredients that may be on the shop floor. Products remaining reports show finished goods on hand and their expiry dates. Cost data is shown on all availability reports.

The Wastage report will show where food waste occurs to help businesses improve their operations and profits.
